The Pulcinella puppet has disappeared. The “guarattelle” shows are interrupted. Two children enter, secretly, in the puppet's house and, once discovered, they are closed by the puppeteer himself in his lab.

The two kids decide to build a new Pulcinella puppet to resume the shows. Delivered the new Pulcinella to the puppeteer, they attend a new show of “guarattelle”, but the new Pulcinella "does not get live".

The “Guarattelle” Theater is a spectacle of puppets of the Neapolitan folk tradition.

In the fifteenth century this puppet show is called "guarattelle"; The term comes from "bagattelle", small objects.

According to a further interpretation the “guarattelle” are the tools of the bag; The first tarot card, magician and juggler, is a symbol of vitality, a manifestation of dynamism, audacity and enthusiasm.

Il burattino di Pulcinella è scomparso. Gli spettacoli delle guarattelle vengono interrotti. Due bambini entrano, di nascosto, nella casa del burattinaio e, una volta scoperti, vengono chiusi, dal burattinaio stesso, nel suo laboratorio.

I due bambini decidono di costruire un nuovo burattino di Pulcinella per far riprendere gli spettacoli. Consegnato il nuovo Pulcinella al burattinaio, assistono ad un nuovo spettacolo delle guarattele, ma il nuvo Pulcinella “non prende vita”.

Il teatro delle “guarattelle” è uno spettacolo di burattini a guanto della tradizione popolare napoletana. 

Secondo una interpretazione ulteriore le “guarattelle” sono gli attrezzi del bagatto; la prima carta dei tarocchi, mago e giocoliere, è simbolo di vitalità, manifestazione di dinamismo, audacia ed entusiasmo.
