Maybe in the future, maybe in Naples. A city destroyed by earthquake and divided in four districts “governed” by “mayors” – bosses. The prefect is alone to represent the State. The inhabitants live underground, in cellars, and garages; poors and emarginated lives in dangerous buildings. Some citizen is engaged in a sort of police corp.

The plot follows two parallel lines. In the first story, the boss of north zone die by assassination and his young son, Alessandro, take the power. Start  the accession of a young boss. Alessandro is ambitious and impetuous. He’ll bring to an end the pax mafiosa in the city.

In the second story, a police officer investigate on disappearance of young teens and he’ll meet a mad actress living isolated in a manor with her butler.

Forse nel futuro, forse a Napoli. Una città distrutta da un tremendo terremoto. Divisa in quattro quartieri: “governati” da quattro “sindaci” – capo clan. Dove lo Stato è assente ed il Prefetto è l’unica figura rimasta a rappresentare lo Stato. Dove gli abitanti, rimasti nella metropoli, abitano nel sottosuolo, nelle cantine e nei garage; i più poveri ed i barboni, in superficie, nei palazzi pericolanti.

Alcuni cittadini sono stati arruolati in uno pseudo corpo di polizia, con compiti investigativi.

La trama si sviluppa in due segmenti paralleli. Nella prima storia, il boss della zona Nord viene assassinato ed il suo giovane figlio, Alessandro, prende il potere. Comincia cosi l’ascesa di un giovane capo clan, ambizioso e irruente, che porterà la fine della pax mafiosa in città.

Nella seconda storia, un agente di polizia indaga sulla sparizione di giovani adolescenti e si imbatte in un’attrice pazza che vive isolata con il suo maggiordomo.
