The third season of Nea Polis, "Nea Polis 003: The Darkness", is a web series in 13 episodes (each episode lasts about 3 minutes), produced by Dissolvenze Incrociate and created by Vittorio Adinolfi.

Maybe in the future, maybe in Naples, a city destroyed by a terrible earthquake, Dario, the former boss of the Eastern Zone, awakens from coma in which it fell, following the coup gun to the head, and an alliance with the His opponent, Alessandro, former boss of the West Zone. Together decide to oppose the new head of the criminal organizations, Rossana. Rossana woman is a ruthless and unscrupulous wife of Dario and customer attempted murder of her husband.

La storia riprende dal finale della stagione precedente, con le stesse caratteristiche: bianco e nero e scena apertura episodio sempre a colori. La particolarità di questa terza serie consiste in 3 episodi che si svolgono nel passato, tre anni prima.

Forse nel futuro, forse a Napoli, in una città distrutta da un tremendo terremoto, Dario, l’ex boss della Zona Orientale, si risveglia dal coma in cui è caduto, in seguito al colpo di pistola alla testa, e si allea con il suo avversario, Alessandro, ex boss della Zona Occidentale. Insieme decidono di opporsi all’egemonia del nuovo capo delle organizzazioni criminali, Rossana. Rossana è una donna spietata e senza scrupoli, moglie di Dario e mandante del tentato omicidio del marito.
